These students in Ireland, like many young people around the world, are finding a way to act in the face of climate change and biodiversity loss: by building an ARK and rewilding a small patch of nature.
An ARK (shorthand for a Restorative Act of Kindness) is a rewilded plant garden that allows native flora to recover without human intervention. On an unused stretch of land behind their school, these students took it upon themselves to create an ARK and let biodiversity return – the natural way.
